Why is google sunsetting Google Optimize?

Google Optimize is a free website optimization tool provided by Google. It enables businesses and marketers to make changes to their website, conduct A/B testing, and personalize their website for different audiences in order to improve website performance and customer experience. With Google Optimize, users can create and test different versions of their website and measure the impact of these changes on important metrics such as user engagement, conversion rates, and overall website performance. By using this tool, businesses can identify the best performing version of their website, which can then be used to provide a better experience for their customers.

Google is sunsetting Google Optimize because it is encouraging users to transition to its newer and more powerful optimization platform, Google Optimize 360. Google Optimize 360 offers more advanced features and capabilities, such as integration with Google Analytics, more robust targeting options, and the ability to conduct multivariate testing.

Additionally, Google Optimize 360 is part of the Google Marketing Platform, which provides a more comprehensive set of tools for enterprise-level marketing teams. As a result, Google Optimize will be phased out in order to encourage users to upgrade to Optimize 360, which is more in line with the company’s strategy and vision for website optimization.
